St Mary's Cathedral, Oregon, USA

Arrays of white hand-painted M6 cabinets are almost invisible in the roof space of this important church. “the unique M6 high-frequency horn focusses the sound like a laser beam on the seating areas alone. The chapel of Divina Misericordia is a new catholic house of worship located in the recreational area of the giant Arroz Mary food processing plant in Acarigua, Venezuela.

In such a beautiful building, architects were determined that the requirement for a high-quality sound system with impeccable speech intelligibility should make the lowest possible visual impact, so NEXO Distributor Sun Music Pro proposed a NEXO system using ultra-compact ID and ePS Series speakers.

THE HALLOWS CHURCH, SEATTLE

The Hallows Church embraces technology to connect with its congregations both in person and through online livestreams, with music every bit as important in the celebrations as the spoken word.

In a system designed by Morgan Sound using NEXO’s NS-1 configuration software, hangs of 3 x GEO M1012 cabinets left and right feature a single, more steeply angled GEO M1025 on the bottom to provide even coverage throughout the church, right up to the front of the stage. Three L15 subs are flown in an end fire configuration to direct the low frequency energy into the Sanctuary and keep it off the stage. Amplification and processing are supplied by NEXO’s NXAMP4X2MK2 4-channel powered controllers, with 3 boxes per channel running in passive mode.

Available in standard and Dante-equipped versions, the 4-channel nanoNXAMP4 combined amplification and processing solution significantly reduces the cost of NEXO ID and ePS Series systems in house of worship installations, without compromising the sound quality.

On-board mixer and matrix functions further reduce the overall cost of smaller installations, with set up and remote control enabled by an embedded web page that can be accessed via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
